Are birds that are native to Austrailia. They are flightless birds with 3 huge 5inch claws (almost like daggers), a big scary beak, can charge up to 35 miles an hour and can leap over 3 feet in the air (according to the Guinness Book of World Records, they are the worlds most dangerous bird). Some Cassowaries can reach up to 6feet tall! Supposedly, according to a few reports that I have read, they haven't killed anyone since 1926, but there are many close calls, with broken ribs, legs broken and gashed. Other than that they love to go into the towns and cities, and peck at windows with their crazy beaks, and torment pets and other animals.
These birdies are a little too scary for me. Who would want to deal with that everyday? Look at these things:
I don't think that I will ever be visiting Austrailia after seeing these strange prehistoric looking creatures. Eeeek.
