I am working graveyard shifts at my work for a little while, until my co-worker's fiancee is more stable from central nervous system vasculities. The minimum recovery time right now is 6 weeks. This is my first time ever working all night long (11:30pm-7am). I've done pretty well over the past two nights. But an energy drink, or two, is definitely necessary.
Other than that -- school starts in two weeks. Ryan and I are taking a speech communication class, that we need to get into any CSU college.

Michael Jackson Week on AI... Shoot Me Now
Oh, lord. I don't know how I feel about this. I just posted in my last blog about American Idol, that I hated Michael Jackson. The only songs that I enjoy of his are 'Billie Jean', and 'Thriller'. That's it.
So I am thinking about just skipping AI this week, because I truly don't know if I can sit through the performances. However, it's going to be quite interesting to see how America reacts to the songs sung, and see who they vote through to the next round.

I Got a Date With Fleetwood Mac...
Yep, that's right. I just bought myself two tickets to the Fleetwood Mac Unleashed: Hits 2009 Tour. Woah, what a lengthy tour name.
The concert is Monday, May 18, in Sacramento at the ARCO Arena. I guess that's where the Kings play...??
I also booked me and Ryan's room, at the Homewood Suites less than three miles from the arena! How sweet is that?!?! What's even better is the room rate... ha!
I really am so excited to go to this concert. I have loved Fleetwood Mac all of my life. I have a drumhead signed by Mick Fleetwood himself hanging on my wall!!! I can't wait to see Stevie Nicks perform. I bet I am going to have goosebumps the entire time!
To be honest though, I would have always thought this would have been a concert I would have seen with my mom. But I think she'll be there in spirit's, and Ry will be rocking out with me.

Happy Belated Birthday Auntie Heather!!!
Oh goodness am I behind. I haven't blogged about anything relevant in weeks!
So I am two days late in posting this blog for Aunt Heather. She celebrated her birthday on 3-3. Just a few days after my dad and mom's birthdays! Since she's in Mexico, I can't quite call her... and I should have Skype'd but, I didn't.

Later this week I will post the pictures of the flowers I bought for mom's birthday. They were these gorgeous yellow rose arrangement. I fell in love with it and had to have it!
