American Idol: Top 6 of 12

Jeez, I am not that impressed so far. Is America deaf and blind?!?!?

We already had Alexis Grace make it through. She seems super sweet, and has a great vocal... It's surprizing to see that tiny frame and hear that humongous voice. America also put through Michael Sarver, who's the oil worker. He's quite easy on the eyes, and has a pretty good vocal. I don't know if it's enough to get him all the way through though. Last but not least, Danny Gokey, he's kinda dorkey but genuine, and has a good story of his wife passing away that I'm sure the producers love.

Out of the new three that got through, Allison Irrahetta is the best of them. She's sixteen and has such a mature voice! She seems a little weird, (don't confuse weird with boring) but America might find her qwerkiness appealing.

I can't believe that America voted for Kris Allen, and Adam Lambert. Kris' song was horrible. Maybe I am just biased because I don't care for Michael Jackson, but honestly, Man in the Mirror?!??!?! Terrible, terrible song choice. And that Adam Lambert kid... I orignally liked him because he was a cast member in 'Wicked' at the Pantages... But his overdone black eyeliner, and the way he licked his lips made me want to puke.

I liked Megan Corkrey's vocal and song choice, but her dance moves were ridiculous. She shimmied her shoulders like a three year old during her first tap dance class... Poor thing, she probably didn't get through because of the moves.

So those are my feelings on the top 6 of 12... We'll see what next week has in store for us...
